Make your company credible to prospective partners, give your team the right access, and prepare to settle invoices.
Who needs this#
Whoever is setting up a new Content Seller company, usually in the first day or two.
TL;DR#
- Settings → Verification supports access to regulated finance features — start it early because review can take time.
- Settings → Public Profile is what Content Owners see before they agree to connect with you.
- Settings → Commercial Agreements activates the business models your company intends to use before you complete partner BMAs.
- Settings → Commercial is where you declare your selling footprint — the countries your storefront accepts.
- When enabled for your company, Finance → Wallet is where you fund and pay partner invoices.
- When enabled for your company, Finance → Payout accounts only stores destinations for withdrawing money from Wallet. It does not pay invoices.
Steps#
- Company Info. Go to Settings → Company Info and confirm your company's basic details are correct.
- Verification. Go to Settings → Verification and provide the requested identity and business information. Access to some regulated finance features may depend on a completed review. Confirm the company is in a supported country first.
- Public Profile. Go to Settings → Public Profile and fill it in properly. Content Owners see this before deciding whether to connect with you or approve your requests.
- Platform agreements. Go to Settings → Platform agreements and review Avrix's own platform terms — separate from the commercial agreements you make with individual Content Owners.
- Team and roles. Use Settings → Team and Settings → Roles. See Your team for a practical permission checklist.
- Commercial Agreements. Open Settings → Commercial Agreements and activate each business model your company intends to use. This enables the model at company level; it does not replace the MCA or model-specific BMA with a Content Owner.
- Selling footprint. Open Settings → Commercial and declare every country your storefront accepts, with the currencies you charge in. An order into a country you have not declared is refused, even when a Content Owner granted it. Where a sale is allowed explains how your footprint meets the grant.
- Wallet, when enabled. Open Finance → Wallet, complete the required setup, and make sure the people responsible for invoices have the right finance access. Wallet is the source used to pay eligible Content Owner invoices.
- Payout accounts, when enabled. Add a payout account only if your company needs to withdraw available Wallet funds to a saved destination. A payout account is not required to pay an invoice from Wallet.
How the agreement steps differ#
- Settings → Platform agreements covers your relationship with Avrix.
- Settings → Commercial Agreements activates a business model for your company.
- Network → Partners → partner → Agreements contains the MCA and BMA for a specific Content Owner relationship.
These steps serve different purposes. Activate the company model before completing the matching partner BMA. Your partner journey continues in Find content to sell.
You are ready when…#
Your company details and Public Profile are complete, required verification information has been reviewed, the intended commercial models are active, your selling footprint matches the countries your storefront accepts, the right teammates can reach their work areas, and Wallet is ready for invoice payment when that feature is enabled for your company.
Common problems#
"I can't access a finance feature." Check the status under Settings → Verification, your role permissions, and whether that feature is enabled for your company.
"A Content Owner says my profile looks empty." Revisit Settings → Public Profile — it's easy to skip past during initial setup.
"I added a payout account but still can't pay an invoice." When Payout accounts is enabled for your company, it supports withdrawals only. Open Finance → Wallet and the invoice itself to review payment readiness.
