Content Seller promotions

Respond to promotion offers, request discounts, join active promotions, and track your calendar.

Coordinate a discount with the Content Owner, then schedule your storefront campaign against approved terms.

Who needs this#

Content Sellers planning a sale on their storefront, or checking what promotions they're already part of.

TL;DR#

  • Inbox is where Content Owners send you promotional offers to opt into.
  • Active Promotions shows what's currently running for you.
  • My Requests is where you ask a Content Owner for permission to discount their product yourself.
  • Calendar shows everything scheduled in one place.
  • A promotion changes agreed campaign terms; it does not repair a missing Agreement, Share, Allocation, or Price.

Respond to an offer#

  1. Go to Promotions → Inbox.
  2. Review the product or SKU scope, discount, territory, and campaign window.
  3. Compare the offer with your storefront plan and opt in if it works for you.
  4. Confirm your own merchandising and retail-price changes are scheduled for the approved window.

Request a promotion#

If you want to discount a Content Owner's product on your own storefront and they haven't already offered it:

  1. Go to Promotions → My Requests.
  2. Select New Request, choose the product and the terms you're asking for.
  3. Submit — the Content Owner reviews and approves or declines. See their side in Promotions (Content Owner).

Check what's currently running#

Promotions → Active Promotions lists everything live right now that applies to you. Promotions → Calendar shows past, current, and upcoming promotions together, so you can plan your own storefront's calendar around them.

You are ready to launch when…#

The promotion is approved or opted into, its SKU and territory scope match your storefront campaign, the start and end times are scheduled, and the underlying products remain sellable.

Example: An approved 20% campaign for a PC SKU in Germany does not authorize the console SKU or another country. Match the storefront listing to the approved scope and dates.

Common problems#

"I want to discount a product but there's no offer for it." Send a request yourself under Promotions → My Requests rather than waiting.

"A promotion I expected to see isn't in my inbox." Check with the Content Owner directly — they may not have included you, or it may be a platform event they haven't opted into (see their Promotions guide).

"The promotion is active but checkout cannot fulfil." Promotion status does not override commercial or fulfilment readiness. Recheck Inventory & selling.
