Coordinate a time-bound offer with clear products, dates, and partner decisions while keeping the underlying Agreement and selling controls intact.
Who needs this#
Content Owners planning a sale, a launch discount, or responding to a Content Seller who wants to run one.
TL;DR#
- Platform Events are Avrix-run promotional moments you can opt your products into.
- My Promotions are ones you set up yourself.
- Promotion Requests are asks from Content Sellers wanting to discount your product on their side — you approve or decline these.
- Calendar shows everything running or planned, across all three, in one place.
Choose the promotion path#
Review platform events#
Open Promotions → Platform Events to review current and upcoming Avrix events. Open an event to see whether your catalog is eligible and what participation details are required before making a decision.
Manage your promotions#
Open Promotions → My Promotions to create and manage promotions initiated by your company. Define the applicable products or SKUs, commercial details, and date window, then review the result before confirming it.
Respond to partner requests#
- Go to Promotions → Promotion Requests.
- Open the request and review the Content Seller, products or SKUs, proposed discount, and date window.
- Approve the applicable scope or decline the request.
Check the calendar#
Use Promotions → Calendar to see scheduled activity in one place and identify overlaps before approving or creating another offer.
Keep selling readiness separate#
A promotion does not create a partner Agreement, add a SKU to BMA scope, raise a allocated quantity, add inventory, or repair missing territory pricing. Before the promotion begins, confirm each participating SKU still passes the checks in Availability & readiness.
You are ready when…#
The correct products or SKUs, partner scope, commercial details, and dates are confirmed, and every participating SKU remains sellable for the intended territory and fulfillment path.
Common problems#
"The promotion is approved but the SKU cannot be fulfilled." Recheck Agreement, BMA scope, allocation remaining, lifecycle, inventory or keyless provider readiness, and applicable pricing. Promotion approval does not override these controls.
"Two offers overlap." Review Promotions → Calendar, then open the relevant promotion or request to decide which schedule should apply.
