Content Owner company setup

Verification, public profile, publishing regions, commercial-model activation, and finance setup when enabled.

Complete these foundations so partners can assess your company, your team can build the right catalog, and finance features can be enabled safely.

Who needs this#

Whoever is setting up a new Content Owner company, usually in the first day or two.

TL;DR#

  • Confirm company details, complete verification, and publish a credible partner profile.
  • Choose your publishing regions and activate only the commercial models you intend to offer.
  • When Wallet and payout features are enabled for your company, complete the required verification and add a payout account before withdrawing funds.

Complete the company foundation#

Company details and verification#

  1. Go to Settings → Company Info and confirm the legal and operational details are correct.
  2. Go to Settings → Verification and complete the requested identity and business checks. Verification can affect access to commercial and finance actions, so begin it early. Confirm the company is in a supported country first.
  3. Go to Settings → Public Profile and add the information partners need to understand who you are and what you publish.
  4. Go to Settings → Platform agreements and complete any required Avrix agreements. These govern use of the platform; they are separate from Agreements with individual Content Sellers.

Team and publishing footprint#

  1. Invite colleagues and assign roles from Settings → Team and Settings → Roles. Your team explains the shared process.
  2. Go to Settings → Regions and confirm the platforms and publishing territories your company supports. These company settings provide the foundation for region releases in your catalog. A region is the reusable country set for a family of SKUs — Where a sale is allowed explains how that set meets the Agreement grant. Settings → Commercial defaults only pre-fill the next Agreement draft; they do not rewrite a signed Agreement.

Commercial-model activation#

Go to Settings → Commercial Agreements and activate the models your company plans to offer, such as API Revenue Share, wholesale, or Traditional Revenue Share. Complete any model-specific platform agreement shown there.

This step makes a model available to your company. It does not complete commercial terms with a particular Content Seller. Partner MCA and BMA work happens later at Network → Partners → partner → Agreements.

Payout capability#

When Wallet and payout features are enabled for your company:

  1. confirm Settings → Verification is complete;
  2. open Finance → Wallet to review the account available to your company; and
  3. add a withdrawal destination under Finance → Payout accounts.

A payout account is where a Wallet withdrawal can be sent. Its presence does not mean every partner settlement is automatically paid out, and the timing still follows the applicable commercial process.

You are ready when…#

Your company information and verification are complete, the public profile is useful to prospective partners, publishing regions are confirmed, the intended commercial models are active, and payout capability is prepared when that feature is enabled.

Common problems#

"I cannot see Wallet or payout accounts." Those screens are feature-gated. When enabled, they can also require completed verification and suitable permissions.

"We activated API, but a Content Seller still cannot trade with us." Company-level model activation is only a prerequisite. You still need a partner connection, the MCA and applicable BMA, BMA catalog scope, allocation, and applicable pricing.

"A Content Seller says my profile is incomplete." Revisit Settings → Public Profile and confirm the details a prospective partner uses to assess your company.
